Eh, I have a MB from work and I'm still an unrepentant Mac hater. All the badass hardware in the world won't save you from crippled software. MacOS will never be keyboard friendly and "MacOS UNIX" will never hold a candle to real Linux.

There was no existing nation. Pre-47, it was British territory and before that, it was seized from the Ottoman Empire after WW1.

Simplistic statements about historical claims to territory will never work here. Nor will "keeping score" about whose team is getting revenge for what previous massacre and who's killed the most children (what a fucking thing to have to spell out. holy shit.).

M1 Macbooks were also the first "Not Completely Shit" Macbooks after many years of awful problems so there was pent up demand from Apple users for something worth buying. Now that the demand is satisfied, sales will return to a baseline.

And game streaming is such a profitable market segment too. I mean look at how well Stadia is doing.

I dunno but it explains a lot about Atlassian's UX, doesn't it?

You're misrepresenting what happened and the documented differences in how China behaves vs other countries.

It's hard to overstate how dangerous flying within 5 meters of another jet is.

Russia frequently tests US readiness by flying towards North American airspace yet you don't hear about F-22 pilots colliding with other planes. But there's a long history of Chinese pilots absolutely fucking it up, resulting in death and damage.

A lot of people are trying to justify the killing of Israeli civilians however.

If there's going to be an "open air prison", we should make one for the far right nationalists of every country so the rest of the world can live in peace.

Turkmenistan should be congratulated for being a sleepy assignment. That's a high achievement these days.

That someone would be creating a strawman.

The KKK is not the ruling government of the US. The KKK has next to nothing for popular support. The KKK does not claim to be working in the best interests of all Americans.

A foreign military occupation of an entire region in the Middle East to ensure peace.

Does anyone remember how this one goes?

A phone of today would out compete a laptop of 10 years ago. But the same statement was true 10 years ago: Android phones from 2013 are phenomenally better than the hilariously giant, clunky laptops from 2003. However, a phone today is not as good as a laptop today (screen res/refresh/latency, RAM/storage/connectivity, etc).

Phones in a phone form factor have already assumed all the use cases they can from the laptop world. And a phone in a shell/dock will never be as good as the real thing so what does it gain you? Apps and websites already sync state across devices. Laptop software running on a phone will always run into mobile OS constraints and limits. You'll probably be severely limited by the manufacturer's kernel configuration (containers, eBPF, etc).

Phone-as-laptop is dorky fun but you'll run into limits almost immediately.

That didn't stop them from plowing ahead with Apple Maps, even though its debut was total garbage.
