This list comes across as very self-serving though. It's basically saying men's issues are only a problem for Feminism when it can be framed as also impacting women. I read the parent poster as calling for rising above a narrow single gender view of equal rights.

Here's how to fix this[+]

+: Since this is Linux, this is a fix for many but not all cases.
Lemmy seems to dream up this strawman of Capitalism while having a very rose tinted outlook on Communism. Everyone seems to miss that these are all problems with humans, not your favorite economic system.
Important consequence of this in the context of elementary schools: most little boys don't lift up the seat when they pee and their aim is atrocious. At my kids' school, the gender neutral bathrooms are the toilets of last resort.
Most nuclear countries have had conventional conflicts since 1945. Many have lost without (publicly) considering nukes. The closest was the UN vs China in the 50's and it got MacArthur removed from command for asking.
I tried RTSP on the wyze v3 cameras and it was unstable bordering on nonfunctional. Even if they worked, I think you also had to power cycle them occasionally to keep them going.
Never. The epic court case has evidence showing Apple views iMessage as a moat to hold their users hostage.
It's not even the being dead part. Ask yourself, "Is this the society you want? Is this how it should function?"
I like "heat pump". It's a very nice ELI5 name. It's a pump for heat. A water pump takes water and forces it to where it wouldn't go naturally. A heat pump does the same.
If that counts then Vim is definitely ad-ware (soliciting ICCF donations).
RIP Bram. You'll be missed :(.
Pebble Time Steel should have been the "standard". Maybe I'm the wrong audience but the Moto 360 is a big miss for me. A smart watch for me needs to have:
- Always on, sunlight readable display
- "3 day weekend" battery life
- Basic smarts only: notifications, alerts, calendar
- Durable, waterproof
- Compact size
- Fitness tracking
I don't care too much about "premium materials" once some basic durability is satisfied. I don't have an opinion about round vs square.
That's the part I really don't get. If you're cis male looking for a job, do you really think crashing this event is going to reflect favorably on you and that you'd be more likely to land a job? People are going to look at you and think that you have good judgment and won't be a problem at all? What the heck is the thought process that makes this a good plan?
