All they did was kick a bunch of mods that were harming a community and trying to create drama without even having the balls to discuss openly the reasons they were banning people. The comments about how a moderator that was there for 3 months should have more power than a moderator that had been there for 11 days (despite one of them not having the wellbeing of the community as a priority) is an amazing joke. https://lemmy.world/post/19731457 everyone should read this post and they will quickly understand after reading op and the comments from people like jerkface why this happened. Posting a modlog without context or explanation is acting in pretty bad faith here.

Also, as a community (lemmy as a whole) we should think if we want to keep people like Beaver who moderates 100+ communities, there are a lot of people moderating way more than they can chew and becoming really stupid, as also seen recently with the bot drama in news on lemmy world. We really love to be repeating reddits problems.

is it based on your searches or something? both in the browser with fingerprint protection where it thinks im from Usa and from the one where it detects my correct location the first result is from logi.com. I really hate bing, specially since they started pushing ai, but dunno, doesnt seem like the normal user experience what you are getting.

The only thing you are saying is that as there are transphobic people we should be ashamed of helping trans people because transphobic people can use that as a weapon against the working class problems. Im sorry but its the most stupid argument i have seen in a while. I am also working class, i have worked in a fast food restaurant, in a supermarket putting up the avocados you pack up and even picking up dog shit in the streets of my town, and i can tell you no one among 150+ people i worked with was worried about trans people in their working class problems.

They are brought up by many different people to prove that white people are weak and perverted

L-o-L. You mean they are brought up by transphobic people to prove they are transphobic? Who in their fucking right mind use trans people as an excuse for working class issues?

I dont get the appeal of the big chonky bar on the left. Whats the point of it? Genuine question because when i look at it it just seems like a lot of redundancy with stuff you can already have in the top bar of mosts modern browsers like firefox/librefox

Turns out that if you are not a Right-wing shit head you can legislate and govern against people with money that try to do as they will :O

Thank you for confirming that having a bot leave a shitty opinion about how trustful that source is or not is not needed. Unless you are saying that the threads removed due to not having a reliable source is based on mbfc, which would be extremely funny and sad at the same time.

[-] stormesp@lemm.ee 11 points 2 weeks ago

And you have the balls to cite the upvotes on that thread as an argument when you know for a fact most feedback is against the concept of the bot itself? People upvoted that thread because the title made it seem the mod team was willing to do something.

[-] stormesp@lemm.ee 10 points 2 weeks ago

Can you tell me how many articles from those sources were shared the last month? Because i havent seen many or any at all, but meanwhile i have seen Al jhazeera and other news outlets being called not credible without much basis. If the information shared on an article is not factually correct, you can write a message or edit the title so people can know it or even remove the thread if it can be harmful, but what the mod team here is doing is just absurd. The goal should be to get rid of the bot already.

[-] stormesp@lemm.ee 12 points 2 weeks ago

Are you joking or something? Have you read any of the comments on that thread or this one? I really cant get how denial the mod team on some .world lemmy communities can be.

[-] stormesp@lemm.ee 17 points 2 weeks ago

Seriously... i just cant understand whats the train of thought on all news related .world communities with this bot, its just mental. All that is needed from the mods is to take down articles that have demonstrated fake news / are factually incorrect. Not to write code for a bot that uses really sketchy websites as their reference.

Would you like to read 99% of the replies to this thread tbh?

I have been thinking about this, there are some videogames i usually revisit every year or so like some older Fable and AC games. I dont reread comics that much, outside some outstanding issues like The brave and the mold from Tom King's Batman or Lemire's Green Arrow, but those have been more occasional rereadings more than a yearly ritual.

Yesterday they had a showcase for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown which was kind of poor, meanwhile, several workers at Kylotonn are at a strike, this is what they are asking for:

-Negotiation of a remote work policy with the trade unions

-Negotiation of minimum wages and compensation with trade unions, in place of unilateral management decisions that penalize a significant proportion of workers

-Immediate implementation by management of concrete measures to put an end to the pathogenic and authoritarian management style that threatens workers’ mental health and cohesion

-Negotiation of working conditions adjustment processes, which currently have to be negotiated on a case-by-case basis with great difficulties

-Opening of compulsory annual negotiations and systematic negotiation with trade unions for all matters falling within their prerogatives

-Systematic information and consultation of the CSE on matters falling within its purview

-Full transparency on the negotiations between Nacon and Kylotonn to find out where the deadlock lies, by including employee representatives in these negotiations

-Same level of transparency for the group’s other studios

-Immediate wage increases throughout the Nacon group at least equal to those at Kylotonn after renegotiation.
