Good. There is no pride in genocide.
This sounds very unconstitutional? It does say "everyone" so the principle of equality under the law should apply. Right???
EDIT, aw fuck:
Non-Swedish citizens and non-Swedish legal persons Art. 3. For those who are not Swedish citizens or Swedish legal persons, special restrictions may be laid down in law in respect of freedom of expression under this Fundamental Law.
Well that sounds horrible. Sweden, do better.
If we're comparing with established prison practice let's also mention how prisoners also get human rights, habeas corpus, due process, equal treatment and stuff like that. Israel has none of that for Palestinians.
Yea but a number drawn with a sharpie would fade away. Have you thought of some more permanent way of inking those numbers in their skins? Not to mention that the forehead is a bit too much, it might make the guards uncomfortable. Have you considered someplace a bit more discreet, like maybe the wrist? /s
Stupid culture war shit.
I would love to hear what's their proposed tactic to pressure Israel to stop oppressing the Palestinians. Becausez motherfuckers, if violence is not an acceptable taxtic, and (peaceful!!!) boycotts are not an acceptable tactic, the what the fuck is an acceptable tactic that people who disagree with your stupid ass rosy picture of this apartheid state are allowed to use? Painting their toenails?
Great, now let's make it universal.
That's silly. Rent controls, an aggressive rental board, expansion of non-market housing, strong tenant unions, and the abolition of restrictive zoning, these are the things we actually need.
Unless we are also abolishing wage slavery and private property, in which case, sure ban renting.
American machismo is tied to American militarism which is tied to American imperialism which is tied to American capitalism. If you want to reimagine a different masculinity, be prepared to unpack a whole lot more.
In a few months again: pray for our wildfires!
