Thank you for saying this.

The US education system is cooked. It's not hard to do better.

Homeschooling gets a bad wrap because it is very poorly regulated and leads to some of the dumbest, least well adjusted adults you can possibly create.

But it can also lead to a much better, proper education if the parents are intelligent and truly care about the kids education.

This legitimately almost ruined NASA.

Honestly "C + SDL + Lua" is basically the best, most sane"full stack" I have ever used.

IMO it allows for the perfect level of abstraction.

Ehh, it has integrated touch gesture support (at least on fedora) so I feel like it's kind of both.

It's really not THAT bad. The fact that the text prediction at the top changes the position of the keyboard and can't be disabled drives me nuts.

FWIW I use Fedora + Gnome on a touch screen only tablet and it all works well enough.

Does this still have a wild amount of drm and extra launchers?

The Gnome OSK is actually so terrible.

Hiring people at lower wages that is.

This is a perfect example of LLM brain rot. They are so used to outsourcing their thinking to an LLM that it's now just their default way of thinking.

I keep hearing about ICE arresting 60+ year old manual laborers while they are working or busting down swap meets where people are buying tools and baby clothes.

They have a LOT of fire power with them at all times. They seem really scared. Like they are expecting a military scale conflict.

So it makes me wonder, is there any record of them actually going after "dangerous" individuals? People with actual cartel affiliation? People with actual guns who actually are willing to fight back against them?

Edit: follow up question. Have they ever even arrested someone who was armed but did not fight back?

Remote play is already semi-broken on stable. In the sense that the video renders super dark unless you disable hardware decoding.

The beta and preview channels are even worse. The remote play session will just never load at all.

It seems like this is slipping through the cracks. I'm making this post to raise some awareness on the issue. Not sure what we can really do though.

Edit: God damn it valve.
