First artist, as far as I know, to do this is the Argentine collective, Mondongo.

These guys did a series out of edibles, including chocolates, cookies and the like back in the early 2000’s. They have some amazing work.

Well, when all Hollywood is cranking out are more mediocre MCU and Star Wars movies or remakes of once great films remade to “modern” sensibilities, but basically gutted of quality, old movies feel original and real. Not surprising.
