Without them, Lyles would have been at a disadvantage of 0.008 sec — how long the sound of the pistol takes to travel from lane 4 (Thompson) to lane 7 (Lylesh).

He won by 0.005.

The second panel shows us their faces. The man in the suit has black sunglasses, a black tie, and a plain white shirt under his suit. The grey-haired man has square glasses. The suited man says "You have to do it. For your country." Grey-haired man replies "Hmph. Fine."

The third panel goes back to the first framing, but the suited man is walking away. He looks back over his shoulder at the grey-haired man, who also looks back at him. The suited man says "Good. Remember, keep a low profile."

The fourth panel shows a rendition of the famous photo of Yusuf Dikeç at the Paris 2024 Olympics, wearing a white shirt that says "Turkiye" on it, his left hand casually in his pocket, his right arm extended aiming a gun.
