MODERATORS
The idea of "free electricity" always bothered me because once you build the infrastructure the electricity just kinda flows through it at all times and sometimes shutting it off costs more than just letting it flow. It's not water flowing through a pipe. Those analogs get used because it's close enough to what's going on that it makes sense when explaining things. So it's really hard to act like it's some kinda largesse. You're like "oh we aren't taking away a thing" and acting like that's giving it away. There's a difference here.
