MODERATORS
I used to worry that it was a losing strategy, because if I don't block them then they will have unfettered access to the new people of the Internet. But then I started to think it doesn't matter, I'd rather have my own mental health.
Unfortunately lemmy is a lot less active when you ban afford Assholes, muck rakers, and people just looking for fights.
But that kind of activity is noise and pollution, it is better to talk less but with sane people

lol, ty, but I lost several earlier accounts when their instances died.
PS: there is a text above the server list. something like it doesn't matter what instance you choose. that was terribly misleading. if you don't want to make a new account every coupla months, you have to choose one of the top 5 biggest instances
