I've been searching a lot for someone contemporary who can deliver a speech the same way Parenti could and I haven't really found anyone. Maybe it has something to do with the way academia has changed to be much more tightly controlled, leaving no room for dissidents.

Even papa Parenti was kicked out of his faculty position for his opinions. Truly progressive movements have a history of being oppressed in the imperial core.

I also hope someone can rally the crowd like he used to be able too, but in the modern era.
