What if you're not a beautiful man?

Edit: well so many of you have been very nice. I was sort of just being stupid (I wouldn't think of myself as beautiful, but acceptable) but thank everyone for their very positive comments. It made me happy to see the responses.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And this is the beholder so stop worrying about what the beholder thinks.

But he has so many eyes! Surely he can come to a consensus on beauty.

Despite how fun, cool, and numerous their plethora of eyes are, beholders are xenophobic against everyone especially other beholders. This leaves them incapable of forming a consensus around anything let alone beauty.

Ngl, I learned what the DnD monster Beholder was before I learned what it ment to behold. I was confused by that statement well into adulthood until I finally realized that a beholder is just someone who is beholding something.

The beholder can behold me anytime.

Any man can be beautiful to women like me with obscure taste.

a. eye of the beholder
b. beauty is not a default state of being*, it requires effort. How much effort of entirely up to you, if you like yourself with makeup (and yes this does go for men too) then use makeup, if you don't then don't bother. do you think you'd like longer hair? shorter? colored?
And if you think you're so uniquely ugly as to be utterly sure that nothing you can do will make you happy you may want to interrogate those feelings, there's probably more going on under the surface there.

* this does not mean that someone who is unwilling or unable to put that effort in is "ugly". this is about your perception of yourself. your perception of other is irrelevant unless asked for

I'm sure there's things under the surface, but I don't consider myself ugly or anything like that. I was sort of being dumb with my original reply. But thank you. I really appreciate it.

Never tried makeup, but I always have my nails painted haha.
