I'm the admin, try not to defederate unless it's necessary, like too many trolls coming into our instance and NSFW, because then I'm hosting it and I can't do that.
But other than that I try to keep it open

apparently enough people were in fact signing up! I have it at like, 5 a minute so bots can't spam me. Raised it to 10, you should be good
