They care about accelerating the fascist takeover so that they can cosplay their little communist revolution, while ignoring the fact that they can't fight against bunker busters and knife missiles.
Germany's communist party supported the NSDAP for that reason. Thinking it'd bring the whole system down quicker, finally allowing their long awaited revolution

I would recommend IRL organizing with people in your immediate surroundings beyond just federal electoral things every few years. On the order of 8-10 hours a week.
