Wednesday, November 6, 2024: Et in Arcadia ego
Second shave with a DE in a row – this time with better results. I could have made more effort in the chin area, but overall, satisfying closeness.
I checked yesterday, and Arcadia is a soap that I have had since 2022, and on which I haven't made much progress (just like with Spiced). Only Le Grand Chypre has been longer in my den, but I expect to kill LGC next year. Arcadia and Spiced, on the other hand, I'm afraid that I will have to mention in my testament...
Finally, cursed be the person who designed the Terre d'Hermès after shave bottle 🌩️🌩️🌩️. How difficult can it be? Literally everyone else gets it right – but Terre d'Hermès manages to have such a ridiculously short neck that it's impossible to dose correctly.
