Summary

Masked neo-Nazis marched through Columbus, Ohio’s Short North neighborhood on Saturday, displaying swastika flags and making racist and antisemitic statements.

Police are investigating, and no arrests have been reported.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Columbus officials condemned the display, emphasizing that hate and bigotry have no place in the state.

The incident follows a similar demonstration in Michigan last week, where masked protesters displayed Nazi flags outside a performance of The Diary of Anne Frank.

people who hate Jews voted for a guy who took all restrictions off of Israel

inhale

HAHAHAHAHAHA

[–] WaveCommander@lemmy.world 16 points 20 hours ago

Yeah. They don't really mind Israel killing non-white people and also concentrating Jewish people under a single state https://youtu.be/N3Taq2bekjQ

Israel isn’t representative of Jewish people. It uses jewish people as a shield from criticism. Israel is a pro-US colonialist project before it’s jewish. This is like saying that people hate leftists but they voted for the national socialist german worker’s party

[–] Freefall@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

It isn't colonialist. It is a place we can force-project our military from in a valuable and very anti-west part of the world. If our military didn't need it, we wouldn't even be near the place.

You think these dumbass neo nazi chucklefucks have enough brain cells to rub together to make that distinction?

[–] drake@lemmy.sdf.org 11 points 23 hours ago

yes, they hate arabs most of all, so they probably consider israel’s genocide to be based. they probably love the concept that they’re funding a war that will kill lots of jews and lots of arabs

[–] GhiLA@sh.itjust.works 2 points 16 hours ago

They hate any color that isn't white scaled to a slightly off-peach beige.

What you actually are has nothing to do with their perception. There's stories of Mexicans and Indians after 9/11 getting killed because some idiot thought they looked like Arabs.

These ding-a-lings have been supporting Israel (cynically) for a long time. First of all, they hate Muslims even more as a general rule, and for their silly fantasy that involves Yeshua flying back on a cloud, they think the Jews need to occupy Israel. This is why we have xtian zionists.

[–] cultsuperstar@lemmy.world 7 points 20 hours ago

It always makes me laugh. These people are pro Israel for its government, which is right wing, but they hate Jewish people lol. That's why you have the MGTs of the world talking about Jewish space lasers and Jews run Hollywood and Jews run the media.

Trump loves the poorly educated.

Israel is not Jewish. This is antisemitic

[–] seaplant@slrpnk.net 1 points 8 hours ago

Most Jews are not israeli and israel is not representative of Judaism, but israel does claim Judaism as a core part of its "national" identity, so there's nothing antisemitic about pointing out the irony of Nazis supporting israel. The irony may be pretty superficial tho, some of the other replies here point out several reasons why Nazism and Zionism/israel are actually aligned.
