Another day, another Lemmy post blaming leftists instead of Republicans, conservatives, racists, and their enablers.

Hating statistically irrelevant leftists is counter productive.
It's not really about the impact they have, it's about the flaw in logic they have.
So why use them as an example of the flawed logic that all non voters have?

Hey, can we please stop lumping all leftists together with the idiots who refused to vote, or chose to vote for Trump?
Some of us understand reason.
I know plenty of leftist who live in reality, understood reality, and voted realistically for an ally in the fight over the next four years.
And then there's fantasy leftists who do zero work, yell into their echo chambers, guard their fragile worldview from exposure to reality, and pretend they're doing anything to further the cause. Oh and they get mad, stamp their feet, and stay home instead of vote. Or worse, they're so far up their own ass they honestly think voting for the leopard is a good idea.
The one saving grace is that there aren't enough of them here to sway a dog catcher election, let alone a national one.

Oh, don't misunderstand, it absolutely means something. Satire, political cartoons, parody, etc have been used for centuries to make a point. Memes are no different.
So then why the deflection with "memes are supposed to be silly?" Obviously I'm referring to the meaning of the meme, passing it off as "just a meme" is intellectual cowardice.
Cartoons are cartoonish, satire is supposed to be satirical, memes are supposed to be memish, and for the most part that means silly

Untrue, memes are just a pattern of information, they can be comedic, silly, satirical, anything. Silly is not a base component.

Well republicans, conservatives and racists are the minority. Had everybody left of them voted, the US wouldn't be on track to become a fascistoid autocracy.
But everyone left of them didn't vote, and I think there are certainly more non-voting liberals than non-voting leftists, so focusing on an even smaller minority of Pro-Palestinian abstainers is silly.
Only 64% of the Voting Eligible Population turned out in 2024, what percentage of that 36% remaining do you really think is Pro-Palestinians that couldn't stomach Harris?

It's not leftists' fault at all that a centrist party lost to a far right party. Please provide any proof whatsoever that it was Pro-Palestinian voters that caused Democrats to lose the popular vote, the electoral college, the house, and the senate.
I'm not singling any "side" out as the culprit. It's always "this vs that" with everyone these days. Left vs right. Black vs white. No gray areas.
I'm blaming everybody who didn't vote strategically on Kamala to lessen the horrific effects on the whole WORLD this will have. Not that it seemingly has to make a difference, considering the American voting system is shite. Perhaps Trump was due to win regardless of the American people voting.
It's the fault of everyone who didn't vote against fascism. That's how it works; if you are capable of voting for Kamala, but didn't, it's your fault Trump won.
Kamala was the vote in favor of Palestinians, workers, and domestic minorities. If you didn't spend about an hour to vote for her, that means you think all of those groups aren't worth an hour of your time or you're too stupid to figure shit out.
Trump is gonna make sure they'll die faster, and there'll be no hope for a cease-fire. With Kamala, the outcome of the genocide is less certain, and there was a cause for hope. The Dems had some people that listened, the Republicans give 0 shits. Now there's nothing we can do; any protests will fall on deaf ears, and there's clearly no hope for revolution.
And so voting for Kamala wouldn't have changed that. And yet it's her voters' faults that he died?
