What do you guys say to people who say that China is not a democracy because it only has 1 party and people do not vote for president? Or any socialist country in that regard? (lemmygrad.ml)

Notably, many of the U.S. founding fathers (I believe Washington in particular) did not want political parties go form, which is functionally the same as having one party.
