Gloves make cuter pets anyway.
idk if this is a joke/reference I don't get, but it's talking about the cat's claws. An "ungloved" cat is one with their claws out
Correct. "But" means without here. But you could also read it as: "You should touch a glove instead of the cat". That’s where I was coming from with the glove petting.
Thank you for explaining. And really you're right. I've had a lot of gloves over the years and not a single one pooped on my bed
