There wasn't a proper primary for Biden. There was no primary for Harris. She just got all the delegates pledged from Biden. And they were destined to make sure that Trump or a similiar candidate would win the 2028 election if he didn't win already in 2024. And this is a continuation of the Clinton campaign, that almost comically made sure that Trump would be the only one addressing the issues of working class Americans.

The biggest problem with reactionary progressives right now is that they want yo tear down the system without putting in the effort to rebuild a new one.

Trump is a clear and present danger to many people right now and Biden or Harris would be much better.

After they won their primaries it was a choice between them or Trump so both sidesing this situation is both lazy and ineffective.

Dude fuck off with this centrist bullshit.

There's never a good fucking time to point out Democrat failings, get shit on for doing it in the primaries, get shit on for doing it when they didn't allow primaries, get shit on leading up to the election, they fucking LOSE and blame the left, then we still apparently aren't allowed to point out Democrat failings when there are literally no stakes because Trump already won.

When exactly are we allowed to say what WE WANT?

I shit on Democrats plenty...in California, at the state level, where there's no chance of a fascist takeover

[–] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

That means we can't discuss policy criticisms on a national scale by your logic.

[–] Cryophilia@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Not until the Overton Window is sufficiently left.

[–] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Do you not see how that has had the exact opposite effect?

[–] Cryophilia@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You shift the Overton window by voting in Democrats.

[–] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Except the democrats aren't left and steadily keep moving right after being elected.

[–] Cryophilia@lemmy.world -1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Maybe because left leaning people don't fucking vote? It's a super obvious cause and effect. Moderates vote. Right wing votes. Who the fuck do you THINK the politicians are going to cater to?

[–] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Revisionist bullshit, you're an actual moron if you're not a paid troll.

[–] Cryophilia@lemmy.world -1 points 1 week ago

Hahaha love when you idiots deny reality by calling it "revisionist"

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world -1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

What are you doing to build a new system?

[–] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Definitely not shitting on leftists constantly on lemmy like you have been for the past several months.

Lotta words to say "nothing."

It’s been a lot longer than that but I asked you a question.
