There is something absolutely relaxing about using a power washer. It feels weird, because the things are pretty loud and you definitely feel the wand in your hands, but it's like you can just push everything into that jet of water and watch it run down.

I assume that goes away after awhile, especially if it's your job, but if it's something you only break out on occasion, absolutely therapeutic in a weird way.

So much so that there’s a pretty popular computer game, Powereash simulator

I've been playing so much of that the last few weeks. It requires just enough attention to be distracting but it's still totally stress free. That plus Taskmaster has been my coping mechanism for anxiety.

Make sure you watch all countries Taskmaster to get a good constant fix. I watch all the English versions, UK, AU, NZ.

Oh I plan on it, but tbh about 50% of the appeal of the UK version is that I've had a crush on Greg Davies for about 100 years and on Alex Horne since the moment I became aware of his existence. I love the show on its own merits but I'm not sure the international versions will hit the same.

The NZ version is not up to the same standard of mean Greg and Timid Alex because the kiwis are too nice but the AU version with the two Toms is a pretty good mirror of Greg and Alex. Many tasks are the same so it's cool seeing more tries and different outcomes.

I personally find all of them to have their own appeal. I wish we could have a US version but I know it would never work in our culture lol

There was a US version. It was a bastard of a Taskmaster, slimmed down cast, no prize task, and only 30min long. At least Alex was on it, I watched one episode and had to stop. It was canceled after 1 season. I think the real format could have worked if they stuck to comedians.

Wonder why it wasn't done like normal taskmaster? That's too bad

When you use the right gear (e.g. hearing protrction, gloves, STEEL TOE SHOES (for you crazies wearing flip flops)) power washing is mesmerizing; especially with the vibration from the water flow.

Very relaxing; very demure.

Should this be a county fair attraction?

Have you heard of Songkran Festival in Thaïland? It’s actually happening right now!

Set-up right next to the lawn dart course.

I think it would be fun to have a "therapeutic jobs" agency that gives low pressure tasks (or high pressure :p) for like up to 5 hours
Probably would have shit pay because some of the tasks are not capitalistic enough but as a small thing once every few weeks it could be a nice change of pace

You might have just invented community service volunteering..?
