The galling part of all this isn’t Trump. Cluster B personality disorder doing Cluster B personality things, like spewing a false reality and demanding people believe in it, is expected.

Attention based algorithmic social media, and the MAGA Media ecosystem, are what’s keeping Trump in power. It’s literally all just attention and propaganda. The sooner opposition realizes that, the sooner this rot can erode. But that’s not going to happen as long as political leaders keep waving their hands around about policy or “we would’ve won if we were more/less liberal, or if X person ran!” No, it wouldn’t have done squat.
In other words, voters are monkeys addicted to scrolling. We can’t help it, and that needs to be understood like the MAGA ecosystem already understands it.
At this point, it's more than corporate media keeping Trump in power. He has the institutions on his side, so most liberals will do nothing to stop him. They'll refuse to recognize that removal by force is the only way they can get rid of a dictator, so we're stuck with Trump till he dies.

That said, the passel of dipshits knows he going to die of natural causes any day now, so one has to wonder what the grand post Trump scheme is.
Alone, the Republicans were incapable of gaining power. He's emperor because they need him, and after he's gone, they wealthy will try to move back to liberalism. The fascists will get thoroughly blamed for all the sins that the rich were complicit in, while liberalism will not be properly interrogated for allowing fascism to rise again.
As almost-equally horrible as that seems, it also sounds absolutely wonderful, short-term.
Depends. BPD and HPD yes, but NPD can be quite charming. My mother had a lot of friends and orbiters. A narcissist knows how to make you feel like you are the only person in the room, if they want to.
