I think that's a crazy analogy to make considering that Iran's last attacks on Israel made the distinction between random terror bombing and modern, precision strikes on high value targets more clearly than anything we've seen outside Ukraine. Similarly, Iran has the ability to target Israel power infrastructure over years of war. How do you think these war tourists will fare in genocide Disneyland without electricity?
They aren't random like WW2 missiles, but not a lot of them get through, which means they can't really do that much even if they did hit a building in Tel Aviv (which they did). if it took 100 missiles to hit one building that's not a lot of threat there. Hitting a power plant is great, but again, 100missiles to do it means the are very quickly going to be out of missiles. I don't know what the stock-pile of Iran looks like, but I do know that Iranian missiles launched >> Targets hit.
Based on numbers from Operation True Promise 2 in October ~200 missiles were launched, <50 hit their targets.
First off, Israel is spreading propaganda about the number of hits, second off, Iran has EW-capable, anti-radar, terminal stage maneuverable hypersonic missiles that penetrate ANY air defense.
You first use hypersonics (We even saw video of this) to hit the AA radars, then roll in the cheapo BMs to finish the job.
Basically the only downside to hypersonics is the cost of the damn thing.
Iran is today a missile superpower. Underestimate her at your own peril.
If you think it took 100 missiles to hit "a single building" that says a lot about how this information is getting to you in the first place. I've been polite about it throughout the last few rounds of DSA 3rd worldists parroting Russian doom-uncle Telegram narratives, but this is getting a little ridiculous. I flip to Axios, I flip back to the "pro-Palestine" people who call Khamenei a cuck, and you're saying the same thing.
Oh don't get me wrong, I want Iran to do the maximum possible damage to Israel. I hope they launch their entire stockpile simultaneously and I hope 99% of them get through. But I also in absolutely no way support the current Iranian government. Let Israel do good once in it's existence by forcing a secular revolution with the same action that destroys themselves.
Well, I don't really have much faith in your plan of the two countries annihilating each other. Like the Syria regime change people, you want to have your cake (regime COLLAPSES via based moderate rebels) and eat it (region prospers and develops under more based policital situation). This is impossible. Also it is unjustified. The Iranian government is demonized too often. Comrades in the CPMK put it succinctly. Why should I listen to you? Where are the assassins sicced upon you by your government?
