Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.


Post guidelines

To be fair, they very much did stop someone whose intent seemed to be mass violence. The man who died caught a stray, which is still a tragedy but it could have gone so much worse

That (no doubt unintentionally) casts it as a simple "trolley problem" dichotomy. But it's not a dichotomy. "Commit fewer homicides than the bad guy might have" is not a win condition, it's barely more than a push.

Edit: shooter still succeeded in their goal. Suicidal terrorists don't see this and think, "I need a better plan," they think, "I can't be stopped." Shooter doesn't care who pulled the trigger, he still bagged a kill!!!

I think they meant 'Piece Keeping' ... people who keep pieces, aka a gun or firearm ... it's people who keep guns
