They'll just turn around and go "well FDR had FOUR..."
That's just maga. I suspect Trump "winning" a third term and the events leading up to it will convince a substantial amount. Maybe not a majority, the only thing you can be sure of when dealing with americans is that they will always disappoint.
They'll just convince people it's not a third term, because they didn't need to have an election so it's just a continuation of his 2nd lawful term.
