I'm fully on board with the idea that patriarchy serves the current power structure, but I struggle to put it easily into words.

Every time I think capitalism has run out of ways to be disgusting, it innovates and finds a new way to gross me out.

This is not a new innovation.

On the positive side, it answers the question "why are men so often like that" with a response that has an opening for change.
