Bit of a weird suggestion but if you can find something that's healthier to overeat it can go a long way to mitigate the problem. Unfortunately you kinda have to figure that out yourself. I enjoy stuff like trader Joe's spinach and kale dip (easily made at home for cheaper) as a "haha I just ate that whole container, good thing it wasn't that bad for me". Other issue is if you're lethargic there can be a lack of will to actually deal with cooking for yourself.
This is the main thing. I don't have AC and the US heat wave has been a struggle. I have stocked up on frozen fruit which helps a lot at home & now I just have to resist the siren song while out of the house.
I mean if it's soda calories there's always seltzers. I guess it would be easier if I knew what was typically calling to you when you had to urge to eat bad stuff or whatever.
For sure! Thankfully I never became a sodahead. I usually want to eat flavored popcorn or ice cream.
