Looking forward to Firefox local translations, my French isn't good enough
Edit: Also when they add all extensions, Imgur doesn't load on mobile for me

Isn't local translation already a thing? I had it for a while already
oh are you guys using the extension, I just got it
I think the news article I saw recently was talking about it being built in?
https://9to5linux.com/firefox-118-enters-beta-testing-with-the-built-in-translation-feature-for-websites
Probably. I installed it then forgot about it, didn't have the need to remember it was an extension anyway.
It becoming built-in is perfect.
You can enable the built-in feature in
about:config
withbrowser.translations.enable
Imgur is spyware crap, since time I use FileCoffee, way better (host and share image, multimedia, videos, documents, PDF, presentations, text, apps, 100% free, encrypted, private, made in the EU), alternatively you can use Vgy.me (same, but only images, by default it delete the EXIF data, if exist).
Just to make you aware: Linguist is an add-on that allows you to change its settings to use the Bergamaot offline translator, making it totally private.
FF local translations is already there in the stable releases. Just update!
What version are you on? In particular I was hoping for a built in version on mobile since I can't get the extension like on Desktop
Ah, I was talking about desktop. Afaik this is not yet on mobile.
I'm using Fennec BTW
Ah understandable, thank you though
