Thats not the claim being made here.
No, they are not, and you should know this given you quoted them. They are disproving the green text, nothing more.
No... There's a bunch of people who have seen the error you've made. That's it.
4-50%+ is a pretty broad range, to the point where any logical and sane person would say "wow these statistics are useless".
