Over the last 4 years i've barely worn shoes like 30 days in total. Today I noticed my previously best fitting shoes are like a size too big.

Ive also lost 40 kg from the point i bought these shoes. Have the shoes shape been ruined or have my feet shrunk??

Yeah, I dropped a shoe size when I lost 100 lbs. Fat is all over your body, even your feet and head. People drop hat sizes too.

What surprised me was my wrists. My watch was a lot looser when I dropped 40 pounds.

Isn't like the last place to really fill in in that way or is it impossible to generalize?

If I remember correctly there are fat ratio measuring devices that use bottoms of your feet. Fat in your feet is supposed to be very predictable.
