OpenAI cofounder and chief scientist says he deeply regrets participating in ousting Sam Altman::Ilya Sutskever, a cofounder and the chief scientist of OpenAI, expressed regret and said he'd do everything he could to reunite the company.

What leadership at OpenAI really regrets is forgetting to double check that Altman had a non-compete in place. It sounds like he is bringing his favorite employees over to Microsoft.

Pretty sure non competes are largely unenforceable, so probably irrelevant.

I don't think Sam needs to solicit for his staff.

Non-solicits are probably not legal in California anyway.
