I think this is a very good move. The more people come to China and actually see what life is like there, the less effective western propaganda becomes.

It's only for a year long period. I thought policies like these would be a lot more permanent.

That's usually how China does things, so far as I can work out. They'll see what problems arise and then likely roll out an improved version that maybe covers more countries.

It's a sensible way to do things.
