What makes you think Haunted Chocolatier will never come?
Some people seem to think that 3 years (from when AAA companies normally drop their first teaser until release) is the full game development lifecycle duration, and anything past that must be abandoned.
Shit, Katana Zero took 6 years to develop, and it's "just" pixel art, but it came out fantastic. You just never know either way.
I want part 2 like, yesterday. It's such a good game, I'd play it day 1 no question.
The impatience of Man
One of the guys who was working on it says they ended up with too many snags, so have cancelled it.
There is literally only one person developing SDV and Haunted Chocolatier. This is literally an impossible statement. There is only ConcernedApe, and he has not announced any cancelation.
There's only one person working on it: Eric Barone.
He would have you believe but he isn't the only developer working on this game.
Do you have an article or something that says that? Everything I can find does not mention anyone else working on the game.
Well I don't, honestly it's just hearsay and I can't say anything more. Not that I wasn't looking forward to Haunted Chocolatier also, who knows maybe it will happen at some point in time.

I wouldn't put much stock in hearsay. ConcernedApe has always been relatively quiet about what he is up to, even with Stardew.
