A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

The supreme Court swung to the right and roe v Wade was overturned, for one major thing. There have been rumblings of attacking same sex marriage, too.
Also there was a coup attempt.
I’m glad scotus went to the right. Finally someone to push Congress to do their jobs.
That's not really how this works in theory or practice, and many people will suffer needlessly in the interim.
That’s exactly how it works in theory. The court for to long as been creating laws. That’s not their job. They’ve been working around congress not doing their job. Go read what rbj said about roe. It should have never been decided the way it was and I support abortion.
What the court has been doing is pushing back on Congress. Now as voters, we need to push back on the people we elect.
Most people are partisan hacks and don’t really understand how the system should work. They just hear roe was overturned but never actually read the decision. They just listen to their echo chamber for how they should feel.
If we want America to get better. We need people to do their jobs and congress had 50 years to make a law and they didn’t.
