Friendly reminder that Boeing is primarily a military contractor and supporting their workers "in solidarity" is a hair's breadth from rooting for da troops. Their union leadership (and most of their workers) are the epitome of reactionary trade unionists, regularly lobby for more nationalist wars, and in contrast to Boeing's PR, there is no firewall between their civilian and military work, with their civilian planes being regularly repurposed into military ones and designed + built at the same facilities.
Positions on IAM will reveal how thoughtful Western leftists really are, and we should prepare to be disappointed. Not a single major socialist org even had a mildly critical take on the fairly crappy UPS contract. Seems they're all in cheerleader mode when it comes to labor.
