Lol. That's season 9. I remember secretly watching the first Treehouse of Horrors at a friend's house because I wasn't allowed to watch The Simpsons.
I remember watching the shorts on The Tracy Ullman Show before The Simpsons got a show of its own.
Yes, me too! And that show seems to have gone down the memory hole. Too bad, because Tracy Ullman is brilliant. Homer and Marge (Dan Catellanetta and Julie Kavner) were part of the regular cast. It was part of my weekly watch as a kid.
It's not the earliest episode I saw, but it is on that definitely dates you if you saw it on TV, they haven't had it in syndication for 23 years.
Whoa, really? Because of the twin towers?
Yes, a large portion of the episode takes place in the towers.
