How standardized a lcd panels? Could I replace the controller in a smart TV with one of these HDMI to LCD controllers?

I have a mix of smart and dumb TV's.

All of them show me the same number of ads: zero.

All of them have the same level of access to networks (LAN/WAN): none.

Worst offender is a legacy Roku that keeps up it's direct connect WiFi broadcast, but it's on its own isolated VLAN.
