So a friend booked an Uber the other day and their driver was a drunk dude in a Tesla (hexbear.net)

Because Tesla’s safety features apparently make it so that you can get away with driving drunk. Dude was obviously drinking a beer and everything. They told him they could tell he was drinking, to warn him because while they weren’t going to narc on him, someone definitely will, and he just sort of absentmindedly smiled.

I'm too autistic to get it, but I'm not so out of touch with social norms that I would expect anyone to openly defend drunk driving, so yeah
