What about a city where they make people pay money to sit down on benches for a limited amount of time or else they'll get poked by spikes coming out of the seat..
Now imagine that the whole concept of these benches were created as a hyperbolic representation of the alienating commodification that capitalism brings, but the capitalists thought they were a good idea anyway....
that would be absolutely bonkers. i sure am glad those dont exist
