Child labour in the dead chicken factory hidden as a summer camp is pretty dystopian, ngl
As young as 5 years old huh
You know, in my summer camps as a kid we got to go out in nature, make paintings and other crafts, go to the movies and visit fun parks.
I learned how to fish, swim, hike without getting lost, and shoot a bow the one time I did a summer camp thing; idk what the blue hell THIS is other than food service indoctrination for little ones
Apparently traditional school wasn't performing good enough for these bastards, they need to cut the middleman
Haven't they been trying to cut the middleman since No Child Left Behind? Christ, the kinds of shit I hear from my teacher homies. I've got teacher homies who KNOW I used to want to teach who keep tellin me not to it's gotten so bad.
You didn't even learn how to sell chicken tendies to while she tells you about god's plan for themsfolks? Just spending time in nature and making art?
"How are you planning to monetize your interest in nature and art though?"
Exactly. Customer service is a skill they can use at Walmart, a call centre, or any of the fast food restaurants or small businesses around town. No matter where they go in life this child will be equipped to serve me some kind of treat at age 14. Even if I'm just calling them and screaming because Amazon can't properly deliver a package to my address- do they even teach kids to read anymore?- that child will know their place better than one who wasted time outdoors.
