To me the most obvious tell is, these costumes would be a lot of work, seems like intricate body makeup, and coordinated between five people. And then they're somewhat anonymous and the cops have to ask on Facebook about them, instead of aggressively trying to put out viral videos of themselves doing this? There is no way.
I thought it would be body painting too but then wondered, what if the arms and torso are made of a thin printed lycra or something, with the dress sewn on top as part of the costume. The head would be a separate piece made of latex or something sturdier. The fishnets would be just regular fishnets.
The only piece that doesn't make any sense is the tail, they're too thick and go under the dress which looks very awkward as part of the costume.
I mean, while you're right, that's also what would make this funny. If there was genuinely a girl group who went through all this trouble, not for viral videos, but just for the fun of it, that would be absurd, which would make it funny.
Instead, someone spent 15 minutes typing into an image generator prompt...
