Please switch over to saying Celsius.
Centigrade was renamed to Celsius in 1948. Get with the times old man!
You’re saying centigrade someone else is saying Celsius why am I getting downvoted if you’re confused too?
Because centigrade and celcius are the same thing and no one else's confused.
Come on, we all knew what he meant. 35 is a hot summer in the UK.
It's ok to be wrong, you can just say you were confused because you don't use Celcius in your day to day life and move on.
To be fair to you American defaultism is also quite annoying generally to many folks so you're probably getting particularly harshly downvoted for what is ultimately a harmless misunderstanding.
