I don't even watch most mainstream movies and haven't seen almost any of the Marvel movies, but after seeing essentially the same headlines for two decades now every time the cast is a majority women or the director is a woman, it's just like "okay, we get it, Americans overwhelmingly hate women, let's move on to something new now."
If Americans hated women, then they wouldn't have paid money to see Barbie, which was the highest-grossing film last year.
