MODERATORS

J.D. Vance delivered a rally speech Tuesday in Pennsylvania with a backdrop that made it appear he was campaigning for his arch nemesis, Kamala Harris.

The unfortunate signage appeared to stem from the event’s advance team not accounting for its crowd blocking half of a gigantic poster that sat directly behind Vance, which appeared to read in full, “KAMALA CHAOS.”

For those watching on Fox News and other broadcasts, however, the only words clearly visible—in white text on a blue background, in all caps—was simply “Kamala.”

The apparent gaffe quickly went viral on X, where many joked that Harris’ VP choice in Tim Walz, which was announced just prior to Vance’s rally speech, had convinced Trump’s running mate to switch teams.

"KAMALA CHAOS" is actually pretty cool sounding. She should steal that and find a fun positive spin for it.

It's such a weak attempt at an attack, rubbing it in their faces that they have nothing real they can use against her seems smart.

Sounds like a dope thing to shout before unleashing your anime attack on someone.

After powering up for three whole episodes, of course.

I picture her yelling that out before twirling with her arms out and knocking over large traffic cones.

Dark Brandon vibes.

[–] ALoafOfBread@lemmy.ml 21 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Should be her version of trump derangement syndrome. For all the crazy critiques leveled at her - they're just exhibiting symptoms of kamala chaos

[–] Passerby6497@lemmy.world 12 points 3 months ago (2 children)

TDS was always projection from the right. They claimed their opposition was deranged for paying attention while the actual deranged people were frothily defending him against every applicable accusation.

[–] ALoafOfBread@lemmy.ml 5 points 3 months ago

Oh of course. Never meant to imply otherwise

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Where "applicable accusation" = "fact"

[–] 0ops@lemm.ee 20 points 3 months ago

I like it, they need to do ads with the monster truck rally voice.

*traitors or failed dictators or wierdo's

Shouldn't alienate moderate Republicans or they will vote for Trump.

Dark Brandon X Kamala Chaos

It’s such a weak attempt at an attack

Not as weak as when Trump called her "Lyin' Kamala" and felt obliged to spell out "Lyin'" (including the apostrophe) so that his kultists would get it. I guess he was worried they'd think he was saying "Lion Kamala".

[–] Gerudo@lemm.ee 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I want some Kamala chaos tbh. Let's shake some shit up and see what happens, I'd bet it's better than we've had.

[–] todd_bonzalez@lemm.ee 2 points 3 months ago

Imagine an animated campaign commercial with a bunch of panicking ragdoll caricatures of Republican ghouls descending into hellfire as a gigantic Kamala Harris rises up in the background taking over the White House, and the words "KAMALA CHAOS" appears on the screen in exactly the same typeface as what's behind J.D. Vance.

Paid for by the Harris Victory Fund.

Democrats still aren't brave enough to do this.
