Exposure makes kids aware that it's okay to be different, to be who they feel like they are, and to explore who they may be.

Bigots don't like this.

Yeah. It doesn't make kids queer, it just makes queer kids more comfortable expressing themselves, and they want people to just repress.

I think that gets conflated with "making them gay", because "no dang kid of mine could possibly"
