Getting the procedure done this week. Ordered some underwear with ice packs and sleeve for comfort. Planning on laying on the couch watching DS9.

Do not think "oh, it's been almost long enough, I'll be fine" and be physically intimate with someone

Wait the recommended period at minimum, or you will be uncomfortable for hours
