In the last few days, I played a lot of the older Tom Clancy Games. One thing I noticed, that they all gone for a more tactical approach, without compromising on the accessibility. You can play it, come back days later and still be decent in it. In today's gaming world, there is a plethora of options of tactical shooter to choose from. Be it "Zero Hour", "Ground Branch" or "Ready or Not". But they all feel so focused on being realistic and hard, while I am searching for something more "arcady". So I am searching for recommendations for some modern tactical shooters, that are still accessible and easy to pop in to even after days of not playing. Bonus if it's single player.

Games I liked: Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Caliber, SOCOM

You didn't list it, but what about Doom?

Maybe I am wrong, but I wouldn't consider Doom as a tactical shooter. But thanks for the recommendation!

Doom Eternal is definitely more tactical than the 2016 remake

It is tactical in the sense that the combat arenas and enemies require you to think about what weapon you're using and when, but all of the decision-making is "in the moment". I think OP is looking for games that require you to think about your approach to encounters before you start them, but where the game is "arcadey" in the sense that it isn't a full-on MilSim.
