I had no idea I would love this channel so much but some random posted it and I’m like “gosh dang he really took apart that engine and melted everything but the steel down”

I can't speak as to the specifics of the picture, but in a blast furnace, you put in the materials in at the top of the furnace (as you can see a worker bringing coal or ore up to the top), and blow hot air in at the bottom. The waste gas goes up, and the molten metal sinks down where it can be collected.
