This is really quite a silly move, I wonder when they will begin coming after other front ends. Only a matter of time now.. twitch have been cracking down on Android TV third party clients.

Based on previous updates, Twitch are making it increasingly more difficult - per changelog...

There WILL be a time when watching Live Streams and VOD won't be possible anymore in the app. I am not here to fearmonger, this is just a reality check, a reminder.

Considering the Twitch app has been broken on ShieldTV for over a year, it doesn't bode well.

ugh that is disappointing to hear. The ads on twitch have gotten out of control recently and every time I find myself opening twitch on my PC I close the tab and wait until I sit on the couch. Plus the PIP feature is downright the best.
