They're actually really cheap and flimsy pedals.
Importantly, they also get stuck under the carpet when pressed which I hear has been causing some issues
I'm guessing they bolt the carpet down as their solution. Might as well add metal brackets and bolt the driver down for safety.
Might as well bolt the car down. They'll probably get the same enjoyment out of it, just sitting in it in the rain and staring forward.
