I've not actually eaten one of those, but given the amount of sweetcorn ice cream, sweetcorn milk, and general sweetcorn sweet treats in China, I'm guessing it's some sort of sweetcorn flavoured hard yoghurt.
I was gonna guess long candied white mulberries but that sounds good too
